I Come From Poem

I come from the south side Apollo heights other knows as A.P.H solar dr was my street name.
I come from a house full of love, an independent single woman raising two kids on her own
I come from good cooking, lots of laughs, good times, and Sunday diners
I come from a big family that once was close, a good life I once had
I come from a neighborhood were everybody loved each other and stuck up for each other it was nice no hate, no fighting  to me I had the world and it revolved around me
I come from a life that most people only dream of having waking up too good breakfast and coffee with my grandma getting everything I wanted
I come from living with a bunch of people, being around nothing but my boy cousins but it was fun
I come from living all over Raleigh going to a lot of different schools but no matter what I always had a roof over my head
I come from having my own room to sharing with my brother and cousins over and over again
I come from living the best life to living a nightmare
I come from something to nothing
I come from truth and kindness to lies and betrayal
I come from being raised to raising myself
I come from haven to hell

  1. This poem really touched me in a personal way. I feel like I know a little more about you now. No obstacle is insurmountable...remember that!
